ይህን ጽሁፍ በይፋ እንድጽፍ ያነሳሳኝ፣ሀገራችን ከኣንድ ቀውስ ወደ ሌላ ቀውስ፤ ከአንድ ፈተና ወደ ሌላ ፈተና እየተሸጋገረች የምትሰቃይበት ምክንያቶች አንዱ በተፈጥሮዋ ወይም በሕዝቦቿ አለመታደል ሳይሆን፤ በዋነኛነት የሚመራዉን ሕዝብ አስተባብሮ በመምራት ችግሮቿን ከስር ነቅሎ የሚጥልላት ፈውስ የሚሆኑ አስተውሎ ያላቸው መሪዎች እስከዛሬ ባለማግኘቷ ነው ብየ ስለማምን ነው። ይህ ለዉጥ ሲጀምር በብዙ ሚልዮን የሚቆጠሩ ኢትዮጵያዉያን በዶ/ር ዓብይ ላይ እምነት በመጣል አሁን ሊያልፍላት ነው፤ መሪ እያገኘች ነው ብለው ነበር፤ለኢትዮጵያ ጥሩ ራይ ሰንቀው ለውጡን በስተመጨረሻም ቢሆን የተቀላቀሉትና የተራራውን ጫፍ የወጡት ዶ/ር አብይ፣ የኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ ከፍተኛ ክብርን፣ ድጋፍ (እኔም በርካታ የትግል ጓዶቼን  ጨምሮ) ሲያደርጉ  ቆይተዋል።  አሁን ግን ያ ተስፋ እኔን ጨምሮ በብዙ ወገኖች ዘንድ እየተመናመነ የመጣ ይመስላል::

A person from Mars who does not know anything about Ethiopian politics can paint three different pictures of PM Abiy, depending on whom she befriends when she lands on earth.  If she meets Professor Al Mariam, her conclusion would be people on earth have genius leaders that Martians can learn from. If she meets Professor Meskerem Aberra or any one of the Professors leading Vision Ethiopia, she would conclude people on earth are led by genociders. If by any chance she meets me, her impression of the PM would be a visionary and remarkable strategist with abhorring management skills. There are enough “supporting” materials in the cyber space to paint any one of the three images.

We are also heading to a landmark election in June 2021. The forces of darkness, the relics of the turbulent years, the “liberation” junkies are all out with negative messages months before the election. These need to be challenged. We hope for the best that public opinion will reject these false witnesses.
